Libby Mullin is the principal of Mullin Strategies, an award-winning health care consulting practice. She assists nonprofit advocacy and provider groups with legislative and regulatory matters and provides strategic guidance in areas including lobbying, coalition building, board development and corporate fundraising. She has been a consultant for CDHP since its founding in 1997.
With the Children’s Dental Health Project, Ms. Mullin was instrumental in negotiating the inclusion of the pediatric dental benefit in the Affordable Care Act, eight oral health provisions to the 2009 S-CHIP reauthorization legislation and legislation that authorized $100 million in new funding for children’s oral health.
Before starting her own firm, Ms. Mullin was a health policy advisor and chief of staff for several members of the U.S. House of Representatives. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Lawrence College.
