CDHP Sends Letter with 62 Signing Organizations to Appropriations Chairs Requesting Funding for Oral Health
The Children's Dental Health Project sent the letters to the Chairmen of the Senate and House Labor, Health and Human Services Subcommittees on Appropriations yesterday to request FY 2011 funding for the specific oral health provisions in health care reform. With 62 organizations signing the letter, an unprecedented number of national and state based organizations representing both oral health and general health have come together with a unified message to Congress on the importance of a strong federal investment in oral health. This is, however, just one among many of the steps we must take together to ensure that the health care reform provisions in oral health receive funding in FY'11 and in the years to come.
