Individual Friends:
gifts of $2,500 and above
The First Tooth Fund:
gifts of $250 - $2,500
  • Invitation to an annual Public Policy Breakfast Briefing in Washington, DC with CDHP staff
  • Access to semi-annual e-newsletter with updates on children’s oral health policy (state and federal policies that will keep kids healthy), news items of note (recent articles and news stories), and resources of note (related to disease prevention, dental health benefits, etc.) - additional email briefings on public policy developments of note are available upon request
  • A presentation on children’s oral health (The Truth About Cavities: Not Just From Candy Anymore) for parents and guardians, delivered by CDHP staff at the appropriate venue of your choice (school, daycare center, community center, etc.), pending the cooperation of CDHP and the venue
  • Make a $250 gift to CDHP when your child, grandchild, niece, nephew or “young friend” gets his or her first tooth. At this childhood milestone, help ensure that children throughout America can achieve good oral health and reach their full potential.
  • Donors to the First Tooth Fund will be acknowledged on CDHP’s website

CDHP is a non-profit corporation operating with IRS approval under Section 501(c)3. As such, CDHP may accept contributions from individuals, corporations, and other entities as permissible under law, and may do so from those entities whose organizational mission or policies are not in conflict with the mission and vision of CDHP.

Acceptance of a contribution from an individual, corporation or other entity in no way obligates CDHP. CDHP will continue to independently formulate its own policies, legislative and programmatic agenda, communication plans, work plans, schedules, goals and all other decisions.

CDHP may list the name of all contributing individuals, corporations and entities on its website, or may choose to acknowledge contributions through other methods, such as printing contributors’ names on materials, conference bags, etc. If an individual or entity wishes to maintain anonymity, it is requested that they indicate this to CDHP in writing.

If a contribution is made to CDHP for a particular purpose or event, CDHP will use the funds accordingly, or decline the contribution. In all other cases, CDHP will use the funds in a manner that most closely allows it to fulfill its mission.
